The Bagel: Entrance into glory.

"praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved" (Acts 2:47).

At the beginning of the weekly readings is the account of the Sarah's death and what a full life she had. But death was not the end. Glory awaited her. At the end of this collection of readings is another beginning. It's the beginning of the reason for the ultimate entrance into glory. Many were saved from their sins. This means that when they died they entered into the glory of heaven. Thus there are two entrances: one is the spiritual entrance whereby the life is transformed by the redemptive power of Yeshua's atonement. The other is a life that goes into heaven after the death of the body. There is a third category, when the body too will enter into glory in the future resurrection.

Cream Cheese: The seed dies, but its life enters the soil to produce a new life.
