Ed-HaOR means "Witness of the Light" and we are a ministry to inform all peoples, Jewish or Non-Jewish, about the great promises of salvation both in the Hebrew Scriptures of the T'nach (Old Testament) and the Hebrew-Christian Scriptures of the Brit Chadashah (New Testament).^*

Jesus is the Light and we seek to be a witness of that Light. Our method of witness is according to the order given in the New Testament:

• To all people: "Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age" (Matthew 28:19-20).
  
• To the Jew first: "For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes-- Jews first and also Gentiles" (Romans 1:16).
  
• Inform by telling (verbally or in written form): "And then he told them, 'Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone, everywhere'" (Mark 16:15).
